Are you good at handling money?

I think I'm OK. Most people probably think they're better at it then they are. My attitude is I don't know it all. And as long as I can honestly say I don't know it all then how can I say I'm good handling money? How do you quantify that? Your questions is relative whwn you think about it. I save, I invest, I get better? But I still make mistakes. I bought NVDIA a couple years ago. I made a 52% return off of it. But it would go on to make a 1000% over the next year and a half. Problem was I sold it at 52%🤣 I bought GS a couple years ago and have made almost a 200% return. I bought BAC and made about a 100% return. I bought COF and made over a 100% return. But I made a significant purchase on OXY and have so far lost my ass on it.🤣 I've also lost on KHC and SIRI. Though both stocks pay strong dividends. But I'm not going to say I've done well. Because while I've made about a 40% return overall over the past 3 years. The broader market has returned double that. I was profitable. But I still would've been better off just having my money in an index fund. But the reality is few money managers consistently beat the market.

I think I look after my finances okay.

I restrict my spending to my income, and I don't go into debt.

But it's all relative, perhaps someone else could make different choices to me, and invest their money in a better way.

Not really. I only manage because I earn more money than I can possibly spend. If I were talented with money, I would be borderline wealthy by now.

I think I am doing a good job. My home & vehicle are paid off long ago & I owe nothing. I am free of any debts.
