Caterpillar or Butterfly? If you had to choose which one would you rather be?

I’m long overdue for my wings


I’ve been doing all the caterpillar work for years
Rested, tired, cold, warm, happy, sad
Doesn’t matter
I kept and keep on going


So any success I come into now is 100% earned and not at just dumb luck

You might already have your wings. It's just a matter of learning how to use them and that possibly is what takes a lot of time and patience.

Egg = Beginning of life.
Larvae = Gestation. Food for predators.
Caterpillar = Teenager. Still food for predators
Pupae = Transition to adulthood.
Butterfly = Adult and end of life. Beauty and the freedom of flight.

Hmmm... depends which species. A migratory Monarch butterfly can live a relatively long 6-10 months. I'll choose that species in that stage of life.

Butterfly. I want to feel free and I feel like being a Butterfly is way more freeing than being a caterpillar being that they can actually fly.

As a butterfly, I can fly, and life is chill. Caterpillars just eat and eat and look a little creepy and nasty a lot of the time. Hands down butterfly

The caterpillar is farther from death. After metamorphosis, they only live long enough to mate -- a few days at the most.
