For the most part, yes I am. There could be better things happening in my life but for the most part I am happy at this moment in my life.

I'm 60 now and I don't feel old
But there's no escaping the fact that I'll retire in 5 years
On the one hand work is difficult keeping up with technology
On the other hand having worked 38 years I don't feel the need to compete. I can enjoy my time off.
I used to think I was in the running for team leader, manager.
That never happened.
But I'm paid well for what I do.

In terms of love life that's another balancing act. Do I separate at my age.
My wife is a tough tough cookie. That's one of the reasons I married her.
Now she has turned that against me

So overall it's mixed

Most of my happiness comes from my children
