What's a fun memory you remember from elementary school?

When I was in third grade, my class had a sleepover at our school. Everyone in my class did really well on a test and the sleepover was our reward from our teacher. It was so fun! Since it was so long ago, I vaguely remember it, but I do remember that we watched movies, played games, and ate pizza.

I also attended a small Lutheran grade school. I was there K through 8th grade (preschool hadn't been invented yet. At least at my school).

This story is only funny in retrospect. Around 3rd or 4th grade (we had two grades per classroom), we were supposed to cut out a design in construction paper and then lay that on a contrasting color of paper. I can only imagine the look on the teacher's face when she was walking down the aisle and saw that mine had a symbol of early 1940's Germany in the center. I don't know if I'm allowed to name it. She asked me if I knew what that symbol meant. I told her I saw it on Hogan's Heroes and that it was the symbol of Germany. She explained about the holocaust and then asked me if I wanted a new sheet of paper. I'm a Bible-believing Christian and pro Israel, but being a little kid I declined and stuck with what I had. Looking back on it I'm surprised that she put mine up on the wall with the rest of the kid's art. She put it just to the right of the projection screen so it wasn't as visible.

Seeing a computer for the first time in 1987. Apple IIE computer I think lol. The teachers had no idea how to use them and they would just let us smack the keyboards around lol. I don't remember learning really anything useful about them but it seemed like a cool thing at the time. I was 8.
