I'm sure you have the long lasting kissing variety in mind.

I have a little story about this subject, but it was a long time ago.

I had met this gorgeous 19 female, though I wasn't much older, and it was our first date together.

We were both living at home, and I took her somewhere quiet so we could talk and have a meal, really!

It was obvious we liked each other, and we kissed in a quiet area, though someone must have seen us, and the owner or manager came over and asked us to leave.

We didn't intend to kiss each other, though we had nowhere else to go if we wanted to kiss each other.

So perhaps it can be necessary to kiss in public, though obviously some people think it's unnecessary.
