If you had to choose one, do you want to know when you die or how you would die?

I think I would choose how I'm going to die.  I feel like knowing when would drive me crazy.

I’d probably pick how I die. Knowing the exact date would make every decision feel like it’s leading up to that moment lol… I think I’d rather just live my life without that kind of countdown in the back of my mind.

Become free from yourself I think about something for the next 20-30 years if it's here right now this moment think about it but get out of your own head you don't need to be thinking about that stuff for 20-30 years 40 years 50 years that is such a waste of time and it just deteriorates your body your mental state when it happens I'll know at that moment and I'll know how it happened LOL that's all I need to know is when I go that's the day I will know

Two years ago, I twice went into cardiac arrest as a result of an extremely painful widow maker heart attack.
I should not be here.

Those events have made me think long and hard about this subject.

Knowing when, I think, would be excruciating to be aware of.

After already having been through it before, the thought of another heart attack, as horrible as it was, is terrifying, too.

I don't want to know. At my age, I see it closing in. I know it's going to happen. As each year goes by I know it is more likely to happen. But I don't want to dwell on any of that.

It's a reality that I've known my entire life, but it becomes a lot more real as you get older. Quite frankly, it scares the shit out of me. I don't want to know. I don't want to anticipate. That shit will ruin the fact that I am here and alive. It'll happen when it happens.

I'd choose when. I don't need to know the how, but I'm a pretty big planner, so knowing when would let me plan my life out. When I should have things done by so I can live life to its fullest. The cool thing though, is that life will soon be extended for really long periods of time. With the help of AI, scientists are finding out they can reverse the age of animals. They're now in experimental phase, but soon I think we'll be able to choose when we die.
