That only works in a theoretical world in which somehow I am immortal until that day otherwise that day is wrong as at anytime something could kill me before.

And I would for sure in that world would rather know the day, as if I am immortal until that day I can just not worry about dying at all by anything. Time to do drugs with no worry and etc.

Meanwhile been immortal to everything but one thing that will cause my death, let's say I did my best to avoid that one thing a lot of things and chains of events can lead to that one thing showing up one day and killing me.
And you are going be paranoid about it for the rest of your life.
If it exists in the world you can't control it not finding it's way to you, you can do a lot but not 100% prevent it as other factors outside of your control could make it happen.

I recently twice went into cardiac arrest, but I'm back now, obviously.

My thinking on that subject has drastically changed since those events occurred.

I'm just hoping that the final event is less painful than he previous "almost" ones.

Since you gave us the "neither" choice, which was kind of you to do, I'm choosing that one.
