How would you feel if you got flowers for someone and their response to receiving them was just 'ok'?

So lol story time. as some of you may know, i do food deliveries for my job. well sometimes we also deliver other things like products from stores or just things other people want delivered to another person.

Well last night i had to pick up a bouquet of flowers. i think they were pink and white tulips. Anyway i delivered them to this house, there was a woman there who accepted them and instead of acting all lovey dovey 'wow flowers awwww!' her response was just 'ok.' and then she closed the door lol...

the guy who had me deliver them called me and asked it they got delivered. i said yes...

anyways i couldn't help but feel the 'gift' wasn't received well lol. maybe there's some drama there.

I don't get it why guys give flowers instead a bouquet of cone ice creams. You can't eat flowers unless they're pumpkin or squash flowers but then they aren't pretty. But I would be married to the guy who gives me cone ice cream instead of a rose or something lol. She probably wanted that!

Yeah ice cream is better i agree. Well its still the thought that counts though. My guess is some drama happened and the flowers didn’t work lol 😂

I suppose she's mad at him or she doesn't like flowers. Perhaps she doesn't even like him.

If I got a response like that I would feel disappointed and I would never do it again.

I'm not really someone into gifting flowers, I prefer having them remaining in their natural habitat instead.

If I really wanted to bring flowers to my girl it would probably be those common mini daisies blooming everywhere. I'm sure it would make her smile.

About your delivery story, I'm thinking your client may be receiving unsolicited flowers or she's just disconnected from the usual servers I know of lol

You don't know why that was her response. Maybe guy was an ass and she didn't accept that flowers were a good enough apology. Maybe she doesn't like flowers. Maybe she doesn't like the guy! Too many unknown factors to know why that was her response.

Yeah i had a chuckle over her nonchalant response and then the door closing. i was just like 'hmmm that probably wasn't expected' lol
