How would you react if your girlfriend received flowers from someone else?

So I received flowers the other day anonymously and asked my boyfriend if they were from him, but they weren't. This happened last year as well and I have still no idea who they were from (my bf and I first met in August so we weren't together back then). He went quiet when he found out and asked if I knew who they were from and I said no.
Later he told me he doesn't think I understand how much he really loves me, there were some deep stuff and he rarely gets this serious. I mean he always tells me how beautiful I am and how much he loves me but this was different.

I don't want him to feel threatened by it so I was wondering what I can do to prevent it? How would you react if your SO got flowers from someone else?

well anyway, i would be obsessed with finding out who sended those flowers. but its hard being a guy, because woman want to be ""FREE'' , so every sign of protection of our girl , will be called jealousy.

i would die and kill for my girl if i would be forced to, not over some flowers ofcourse but i would if i had to, but i now realize only for the right girl. the last one dropped me like a sack of stones after she miscarried from me.

well in your case convince him he is the only one, and if you know who it was, tell that person not to do that.

You should contact the florist, tell them that you have a stalker in your past, you are concerned about receiving anonymous flowers, and ask them to reveal the identity of the sender. They may not do that but they might if you talk - in person - to a sympathetic clerk.

Consider applying for a restraining order against the violent guy from the past.

Talk to your cousin and try to determine whether her acquaintance is the one who sent the flowers.

That brings back bad memories. Over ten years ago, I was dating a lady and I thought it was going very well. When her birthday came around, I sent her flowers to where she worked. That evening I went to her place, and not only were the flowers that I sent her were there, but a much larger set was there from someone else. I didn't want to get into "who they were from" because it was her birthday and we were supposed to be having fun. A week later, we were no longer dating. I remember saying, "I guess the guy who sends the larger bouquet, wins"... LOL...

Anyway, what it was, was that she had reconciled with an ex during the time she and I were dating and they decided to get back together. Sucked but I did dodge a bullet as she has been married and divorced at least twice since then.

You really need to figure out what guy could possibly know your address. Most likely your boss. This is typical stalker behavior. And I don’t mean the stalker like someone checking someone’s Instagram or Facebook.

No I mean REAL LIFE STALKER. Real life stalker visits your neighborhood. Knows your home address. Knows your name. Sends flowers. Sends packages and gifts.

If I felt as much for you as he seems to, I'd probably be concerned as well.

Noone likes to lose what good they have in their lives, and even though he probably has absolutely no reason to be, he still probably feels threatened. Just reassure him that you have no idea who they're from and not to worry.

Random flowers I would not think to much about. I would be more concerned about the jealousy or trust issues your boyfriend has. I say trust issues because if he believes you that it is random then why did he get upset? If he did not believe you then he doesn’t trust you to tell the truth. Him saying you don’t understand how much he really loves you also shows lack of trust because to him you don’t understand it.
