I've never seen a midget in person, I've only seen them on a screen, which must mean there's not too many midgets or they all have an underground civilization where they all live together in unity like a city of oompa loompas.

Yes! When I was on Whidbey Island in Washington State I saw many of them.

I believe that they have their own community of people who are the same type of people.

They seem to want to stick together and I cannot blame them.

They had a long running TV program called "Little People" and the Mom and Dad were little people, (they aren't called midgets anymore) one of their 3 children was a little person and the other 2 were of normal height and healthy.

There was another TV program that had them but I can't remember the name of it. They were a married couple and the wife was a doctor and the husband was a business man. They lived in a big two story house with an elevator and adopted 2 children from China.

Anymore? So they were at some point right, I feel like I'm going crazy with all these social changes, now they get offended by the word they even used to use themselves, either ways it sounds like you ran into a lot of dwarfism stuff in your lifetime 😂

I have seen little people in person yes. There was a couple of people who went to my school who had dwarfism. One little John who had pituitary dwarfism and down syndrome, was very popular. Would go around the school finding a new girl to be his girlfriend everyday. Would walk them to class at the end of lunch holding hands lol. I was picked a couple times.

Yeah he was hilarious, there was a little horse shoe shaped hill with a basin at the front of my school and he would do walking handstands down AND up it to show off. Basically was like having a crazy 7 year old running around a high school

Actually no, I didn't think I was doing a bit, I didn't know It was a slur until you said it, I searched it, It wasn't when I was younger, that must have been during the oppression trend, dwarf always sounded far worse considered it's used as mythological creatures that are small in many fantasy themes, I used midget cause I thought it was the actual word for them, you replied to my question while I was just throwing a slur around, I'm surprised you didn't try to decapitate me a lot sooner 😂

Well now I know I suppose, here I thought it was the proper term to describe these people, just calling them little people sounded more offensive, cause kids are little people too, so do I just call em dwarfs cause they all sound offensive
