I do it all the time. For many things, pen/pencil and paper are simply the way to go. Shopping lists or quick mathematical proofs or notes from meetings written on the fly.

Indeed, schools are beginning to move AWAY from laptop learning and going back to the old way because various learning metrics are indicating that students doing it old school are doing better.

Almost every day. The PC or laptop are more for professional reasons. I spend enough time behind a screen as it is. Besides, I like the tactical feeling of withing something down with a pencil or pen.
