Not necessarily. Sometimes, you need to reevaluate your intentions, your commitment, and your abilities with regards to something or someone and then make that hard decision to no longer pursue whatever the endeavor is.

To persist and endure is a good and admirable thing. But sometimes, one also does need to accept reality for what it is.

it depends what level it is. Maybe you’re taking a break maybe you decide it’s not for you. Maybe you want to do something else it all depends what it is. It doesn’t mean that you’re failing. Look at your favorite president Donald J Trump he is working very hard for you and everybody else. even though you’re not American, he still cares for the people. Did you ever see the apprentice?

I'm not generally a quitter by nature. It takes a lot for me to give up on something.

But if I know that I am just beating a dead horse and it's never going to turn out good, then I will make the call that it's time to give up on certain things.

But once I make up my mind about something, I rarely if ever change my mind.

Completely disagree. Sometimes you need to let go and make a tactical sacrifice to win a strategic victory. It comes down to what’s at stake and how important each individual victory men’s to the grand scheme of things.

Would you pursue a would be assassin or help the intended victim knowing you can always come back and deal with the killer on your own terms? Giving up in the moment does not need to mean giving up in absolute terms.

Depends on the situation. If you give up on something because you know it won't work or would be a complete waste of time and effort then that's smart.

If it's something that can be done, you may need a break from it to look at other avenues, to work it out or make it work out.

For some things yes but not everything. Like I'm quitting my job next week after a year and half of being there. I tried to stick it out but it's starting to affect my mental health which is never a good thing.

Agree. You've not lost until you quit. Now that doesn't mean you should continue to fight a losing battle. I'm a very tenacious person. I do not give up easily. This has worked to my detriment on several occasions because I don't like admitting defeat. I won't quit until I'm convinced, or someone convinces me it's unwinnable.

I believe the moment you give up is the moment not necessarily you fail because sometimes failing is a good thing sometimes our mistakes and our failures teach us to be better and do great the next time it teaches us lessons I think once you give up you have given up!

You know, you can't succeed at something even after putting all the efforts and failing each time with the same result. Is something you need to give up and accept.
And find something new to grind in.
I gave up on a lot of things.
Religion, love, etc.
