Are hairless Chinese Crested dogs safe in year-round sunny weather?

I have had three Italian Greyhounds a Dalmation in the past. Anyone know how Chinese Crested dogs do in year round sunny weather? I would like the bald one. I know they need sunscreen.

I would love a tiny dog breed and I am leaning toward Chinese Crested.

If they are in a place with weather anything like a Texas summer you will want to use a pet safe sun screen if they are to be outside for long, they can get sunburned.

Dogs can get skin cancers just like humans, so they could never be totally safe.

generally speaking... we HAVE TO, make them safe

whether you purchase or adopt a dog... make sure you consult first with the place? and ideally they will let you know all about it too...
