You know I've have always asked myself this question but it seems to be getting worse and worse
People that didn't get their way don't believe in God and it's their choice I understand that and that's perfectly cool but it just seems like more and more people are getting more and more evil and vindictive and instead of just letting things go they have to get even or whatever they do they like to cause drama to bring you to that side of darkness and I don't believe in that I do believe that there are a lot of people that are good people and you said the key word right there have faith the faith is the most powerful word that I could think of because you have to have it at all times and believe in it I do believe in humanity I do believe in good I do believe that that's what we're all here for is to understand love and how detailed that can be because there's so many different types of love but it's the power of love and giving this beautiful and I'm sure one of these days we're going to have to prove it because good will always win over evil no matter what maybe not in the very beginning but we will win
Not much at the moment, I used to have much more faith in them. But ever since 2020 I learned why the holocaust happened without issue. When kids had to change clothes in the freezing cold outside after swimming lessons because they weren't vaccinated almost nobody cared and did anything (Except for a political party who provided a bus for them to at least be inside). When people got their freedoms robbed nobody cared. When people raised alarms about the vaccines to try and prevent harm to others they got slandered.
Ultimately its path of least resistance, "look how good everything still is, we can't complain" types who will go along with anything. If they start abducting and murdering people it will be fine by them because those people probably did something to warrant it.
People ultimately just don't give a shit. There's the most obvious media mass manipulation ever, absolutely blatent lies and people let themselves be manipulated by it without any issue. No questions asked because "The experts say". And then if you present counter evidence and other experts ït "Can be fake, you saw that on the internet not at a credible news source".
So at this rate I don't have faith that 80% will do the right thing. 20% will do the right thing, 20% is evil and will deliberately do the wrong thing. 60% are sheep.
Generally, no, I don't.
Envy and hatred have sealed their place in the hearts and souls of most humans nowadays.
And, they refuse to be educated to learn why it's not good to be living with those depravities.
Fortunately for me, we birds of the same feather who flock together trust each other to maintain our good old-fashioned virtues.
My version of faith in humanity is grounded, realistic, and shaped by what I see people actually do, not what they claim. So yes, I do, but not in the one that many others would interpret as 'humanity'.
A very smart thinking

I do.
And when in doubt, I'm taking a look at the scales again, at History, at what I think are human nature and human condition. It helps me putting things in order again.
But, as DryGermanGuy said, when I'm saying I do have faith, there is a context.
I'm saying it from a place, environment and life story that didn't try to constantly bury me under tons of mud. On that aspect, people are far from being equal because we all come from a different story we didn't choose. Some of these stories are fundamentally atrocious, in such ones, there was absolutely no "people help the people" to find. I liked the spirit of the song, thank you.
You are welcome 😊
I decided back in 2008 that we, as a species, will eventually poison ourselves to death. I estimate we have less than two centuries left. Now, I don't have children, so I determined that I would made peace with it. I don't know what running around with my hair on fire would change. So I'm going to live on my little patch of woods, have my ashes poured into a little crack in the limestone and become sedimentary rock for the next evolution of life on earth, after she has shaken her self free of us like a wet dog.
Wow.. that’s so depressing 😄
I think there are many good people in the world who only friendly, helpful, and have only the best intentions for others. But I also think there are tons of greedy, self centered people who would not hesitate to walk on others if it means better standard of living for themselves. And those types of people tend to be more noticeable. Because who do you notice more: The person doing nothing to you and living passively or the person actively ruining your life?
I wish we would come to a point in humanity where we remove the bad people in society. But there are too many people in the world with suicidal empathy.
Humanity has never instinctually evolved past monkey. It's always hit, yell, & throw things, they are tribalistically territorial (so they will always fight & genocide eachother), they have control issues, they power trip too easy in a place of management, and they are parasitic to the planet, even though they have the ability to be symbiotic.
Untill people can stop seeing boarders, not react to situations with yelling & assult, stop power tripping, stop intentionally causi g harm to others, and start working with the planet as a whole... humanity will make this world unlivable or be their own extinction.
Yes I have faith that humanity's capacity for social change can be measured on a geologic scale. Our technology on the other hand changes rapidly and constantly. We are primitives who haven't changed much in 3,000 years with more and more dangerous tools. I have faith that humanity will eventually wipe itself out. The success of our species will be the end of us.
People I know well prove to me that humanity is fundamentally good. As do random strangers finding meaning in their lives who share them with me for seconds, minutes, maybe an hour.
It is easy to be swept up in the day to day happenings of media figures being reported to do terrible things. And they do. But it is not a fair assessment of humanity.
Besides, I have to have faith. What else do we have?
In general, yes. I think most people are good.
I do especially with how bad things are and seem. If we all give up on each other it's gonna be our own fault for things not getting better. I know this is a simple way to explain things that require more context and nuance but this is just a broad feeling for me.
I don't have because.
1. Capitalism have turn men and women against eachother.
2. Lets be real, love only happens between 2 attractive ones or the other is rich.(Majority cases)
3. One person can't change anything to save the forest, even planting trees in some areas is prohibited.
4. I lost my trust when I see war, riots, and what not, I had to stand and get beaten due to belonging to a minority group.
If there's no faith in humanity, then why should we humans exist?
I have faith in humanity. Yes, there are bad and evil people, but they are the minority.
I actually do. Humanity has always historically faced change and adversity and overcome it. Problems... especially now a days with social media... tend to be over hyped.
Nope. Humanity has demonstrated little capacity for anything good for long
No, I don’t have full faith in humanity. There’s too much selfishness, dishonesty, and inconsistency in people’s behavior.
No. However I don't care much about humanity. If I could live forever, maybe I would care.
I have faith that humanity will always do the selfish thing.
@elenaseluna I said 'no' but it depends on the day we are talking about.
Humanity hasn't shown itself to be worthy of faith, so far. There are too many who commit evil acts, and too many who turn a blind eye.
No. Not at all. I fucking hate humanity. There's a reason every religion recognises we're fundamentally corrupted beings.
From where I come from and stand, yes. 🙂
Nice 😊
Humans who are close to me knows that there's still faith in humanity, but do i i have faith in humanity? Maybe but very rare!
Faith they’ll destroy each other. I mean someone comes up with weapons. That could whip us all out.
I have faith that most of humanity is extremely selfish.
Nope. Man is evil. But i do have faith in God. And any goodness you see in man is just the reflection of God's love.
Yes i do without question cause humanity will always surprise you
Not really, many humans are disappointing in my opinion.
Hahahahaho no.
@elenaseluna I don’t trust anyone
faith as in faith that they'll fail, yes xD
No when I see how bad people are
Humans are born out of sin and deciet
yeah i do, why i have no idea lol
Not really
