I rent it.
Why would I enslave myself to a bank for years and years - only to find out that my then investment meanwhile has totally become out of fashion, and now is facing hundreds of more modern and newer rivals?
"Old age security"? Fuck that. I don't even know how much longer I have to stay here.
"Build up something for the kids"? Fuck that, too. If they want a house: let them get it on their own. I already fed them and supported them as long as they depended on me or my useless ex wife.

Yes. But frankly I'm ready to ditch this thing and downsize. I don't need 4,200 sq ft of house and 3/4 acre of lawn and a pool to maintain with just me and my youngest son living here. But I actually make money living here. Not free. I actually make about $40K annually off the place after mortgage, taxes, and insurance. Hard to beat getting paid to live in a comfy house. Gotta love Capitalism.

Yeah! We just bought it this year. our first home, and I love it!. It needs some work, but hubby has been doing a great job, and the ceiling fan has not fallen yet XD
