Id say oxygen is pretty much up there as a necessity.

Aside from that super obvious answer though, I would say my kids, my partners and some form of other human interaction otherwise are things I wouldn't want to live without.

Purpose, genuine human connection, and curiosity.

I think those are the things that keep life meaningful long after the excitement of everything else fades.
