Yes we have students in our school who speak Urdu. Gujarati , Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi and a few other local languages.

  We are in NYC. I am a school teacher. We have a large Indian population.
  My Principal is Indian. We just had Indian food for dinner last night. lol
