What do you think about the Arabic language?

Well I'm an Arabic girl. I love my language especially when it's used in poetry. I love drawing the fonts with its letters. You can draw its letters in a simple way or in many shapes which makes it more flexible. Sometimes I even use it to make beautiful shapes of plants, flowers, hearts and etc.

I know there're tough letters in Arabic that don't exist in many languages, and non-Arabic people find it hard to pronounce them correctly. I just wanna ask you what do you think of it? I mean when you see the letters do you think they're beautiful? What's your impression once you see them? And also I want to ask what do you think of it when you listen to it? Is it nice to hear or you find it strange and tough?!

Can't say I understand it but a friend of mine is half Morocco and when she speaks to her father is sounds amazing and I can't help but stare at them in sheer amazement/jealousy. The written language is stunning but it does bewilder me when people get Arabic or any other type tattoos when they've no connection to the language or culture

No I like tattoos I have two but ones that are very personal to me. I just don't get people who tattooa language that is irrelevant to them

When I hear it I thinks its the complexity of the language that I love and fact that I don't hear it often. Rare is beautiful.

I love it. It's just so pretty :D. I've never been able to do all those swirly pictures, but I love writing simple words down simply because they look quite cool, haha. I don't find it strange when people speak Arabic (I actually kinda understand what they're talking about) and I *love* listening to Arabic music :D

The letters are beautifully written, but I'm not so crazy about the sound because it usually is kind of harsh, not saying that it is all the time though.

i know that it is a very hard language to learn but if your Arabic script wasa given to a person who speaks urdu he could read 80% of it's text, this is becuase the letters are very similar. I can read it but it is very hard to speak or understand (p.s I love that Arabic song Tamaaly maak, and lebanese tea). LOL.

Yeah I understand yo,u it's like Iranian. I can't understand Iranian language but I can read it since the letters are almost the same!

Na-am =P The characters have always been very beautiful. I've always thought Arab lettering, patterns/mosaic, and sand art were interesting. The language is interesting, although I can't speak it.

To be honest.. I don't know much about it.

The letters look interesting, but I couldn't tell whether a text written with those is in Arabic, Persian or some other language.

And the spoken Arabic to me resembles Hebrew a lot.

Yeah you're right. There're some common letters between the Arabic and Persian language. :)

And the spoken Arabic has some common letters with the spoken Hebrew. :)

I love it and would love to learn it since my niece is half Egyptian and Asian . I've been tryna learn words and I've been watching arabic series and I would love to learn the language but it sounds soothing and amazing to hear. I'm fascinated by the arab culture too.
