Is the earth half a sphere?

The biggest debate in science today is whether the Earth is flat or a sphere. I'd like to offer an alternative.

The Earth was originally a sphere but it got split into two. Each half sphere has a population on the round side and the flat side. That is there are four separate populations out there. We just haven't found the other half planet yet

Well the other half is the moon! It is only a theory but a planet dubbed Thea crashed into the earth and took out a large chunk that made the moon.
