Do have dreams that come true years later?

WOW!! I just had a flash memory of a dream I had a long time ago where this break up happened to me!!
I'm going through a break-up with my fiance and, somehow, I had a dream about it a long time ago.
The flash was only a nano-second so, I couldn't grab onto anything about it other than, it was from a dream I once had where this happened to me!! I can't tell what the outcome was but I HAVE had other dreams that came true years if not decades later!! I mean, EXACTLY as I dreamed them! Off the top of my head, I can only recall three of them, now but I HAVE been having these ever since I was a kid! I know there was one that came true in the early `80's and I dreamed it at least in the mid `60's to early `70's. I just don't remember what it was, anymore. There was one I had in `92 or 3 that caused me to wake up crying in the middle of the night! I have no idea why because, there was nothing in the dream to cry about! It came true at the print shop I was working in around `04, maybe `06. The other one, I don't recall when I dreamed it but it came true at a house party after my band played a gig at Penguin Pub in Youngstown, Ohio.
All I can remember of the flash I just had is that there was one of those woven "wooden" baskets in it that they use when picking apples and it was painted white. I don't know what the significance of the basket was but it told me that it was part of this dream I had a good while ago where she broke up with me.
I tried looking up the basket in an old John Garfield / Dead End Kids (Bowery Boys) movie from 1939 called, "They Made Me A Criminal" because he ends up on a farm and I thought they were picking apples but, turns out, they were picking dates and using buckets. But, imagine a woven basket made of a very thin 2" wide slats and the whole thing was painted white.
