here's an unfortunate red-pill to swallow.

not all dreams can come true no matter how much we'd want them to and that includes dreams that sound realistic.

for example, dunking a basketball should be realistic enough because michael jordan could do it, anyone can do it right? even with hard work, it's not always possible.

I'm certain the old, bald, short, fat, disabled guy in a wheelchair who lives in a shack by himself off govt disability checks would like to be tall, muscular, handsome and wealthy with a loving beautiful young wife by his side and multiple kids living happily ever after in a nice mansion but in all likelihood that's never gonna happen.

in a world of billions of people with their own dreams and desires, many of them are bound to never happen for a wide variety of reasons.

that being said, a lot of us who are in a position where we can make our realistic dreams come true should try but there are many who can't achieve such dreams hence why I think it's stupid to be mocking or bullying those people.

if they are realistically achievable, then there's chances for it, sure...

but they are not to be achieved through fantasy and hope.. it does take hard work, effort, dedication, focus, will, extra work and then, some luck as well... lol

Then yeah, it’s not coming true lol.

I can dream about losing a mere 5 pounds, but if I’m not taking steps towards it I’m never gonna cross that bridge.

No, that wouldn't be realistic. Trying to make a dream come true, sure, we can all try. And I think to a certain degree, depending on the dream and the consequences would be, we have to try.

That the dreams WOULD come true isn't correct. There are never any guarantees in life. The best thing you can do, in my opinion, is to try to get the odds in your favor as much as possible.

No there's definitely dreams that can't become true. I can't become the king of Sweden, because I'm not on the order of succession.

And for example, someone can dream of becoming the president of the United States, but that can't happen if they were not born in the US.

No, some dreams are out of reach for genetic/environmental reasons and others would require more sacrifice than their worth (like 20 years of sacrifice). Is it something you really want that badly?
