What does it usually mean when a guy lingers his eyes on you? :)

I had this guy linger his eyes on me each time I would walk by. Once I got up to throw something in the garbage at the cafeteria of my college, and I notice he would follow me with his eyes. So I got up 2 more time to see if it was just me, but no, he stared each time again. Today, I walk right passed him with my my friend and I told her to look back him to see if he was staring,she looked back and caught him looking at me, like following me with his eyes as his head was moving each time I'd move. Like with a normal facial expression. I've caught him looking back at me after 2 weeks of not seeing him. Could he be interested? He's hot to. He seems shy, and eh doesn't speak to no1. He's not like those other guys that check every girl that pass by, he only does this with me.

That kind of situation where he gets so nervous and sweaty and all and omg I find it funny if that happens. Haha. Talk to him though cause you keep getting his attention. Careful, you don't know what his intention is.

I'd say he likes you but is too shy to talk to you. I've been there myself. Liking a girl from afar but to afraid to say something. Usually I at least try to flash a smile or something so I don't come off as creepy

May be he is trying to figure out your ethic characteristics which he may find attractive. I know because I am one of them and when I find a girl which is rather different my anthropological self springs to the forefront.
