2. are there any big personality differences between a girl who dresses goth/punk/metal, other than music I listen to
3. any place in particular where I can meet girls like this?
As a girl who used to dress goth yet still kept most of the character, I feel I may be able to help somewhat.
1.) This is like asking "Does that girl think I'm hot?" every girl is different. Personally when I was in my 'darkest state" I had pretty much the same interest as I do now...and I consider myself quite the little princess. I noticeably preferred smaller guys or more of the 'average guy in my area' which most were around the size of most of those 100lbs to 115lbs girls here. Though what I was always interested in was character, so if the fat guy had a better character I would of been all over him...there isn't many here though.
2.) From what I've noticed Goth is more a personality trait. Most girls who dress goth because they want to and not just because its hot...which is what much of the goth I see now is...I just jokingly call it slutty goth since its no more than miniskirts, tight tank tops revealing t*ts, and dark makeup. So getting back to what I was saying, most gothic girls I know have a very deep character and this can either lead them to be very inspiring people or send you over the deep end and be turned off by them.
3.) Depends what type of goth your going for and your exact age. In high school its literally just looking but as I got older I noticed it was more for party stuff, only wear it after work and extremely toned down for work. Many of my more gothic friends, including myself, found it an extreme hassle...plus my family was always insulting me. So for older than high school...it may be a bit difficult to spot one. I would however say stick to your hobbies or expand your hobbies...because if your not into what she's into the goth look wouldn't matter too much.
I'm goth. An actual goth. I appreciate the original subculture that was wide spread during the 1980s. Not the mainstream crap that is said to be goth. For one, I like intellectual men. I don't mind what some one wears. Two, there are different subsets of goths. Victorian goth are verrry classy. Just because some one looks " different". Does not mean they are only willing to
Associate with people different then themselves.
Everyone has a different personality.
There will be people who try to manipulate someone's else's for some advantage, but for the kost part no one is the same.
Due to subcultur-al differences no punks, goth and metal heads are not the same.
They are usually open minded... But no one is the same.
If you see a girl like this that you like, you might want to work your magic and talk to her.
There are not to many of us left, unless you are going to a concert that is specifically playing goth music. That being a band such as... Bloody dead and sexy. That is just an example.
A goth band- Christian death song Romeo distress
Metal- venom song in league with satan
Punk - flux of pink Indians song tube disaster
I pretty sure you can here the difference in the music.
Yet there are people as myself who listen to all these types of music, and I'm influenced in style by all the subculture.
If you look you will find a metal girl.

I am a "frilly goth" if you can call it that. I am not emo or anything just like dark lace clothing and go weak in the knees for vampires (NOT a Twilight Fan) and am a dreamer. There is nothing wrong at all with clean cut and I actually love that in a man. As far as differences go, yeah, there is a chance that there are big ones. A lot of "clean cut" guys seem to be realists. Goth girls can be dreamers, etc. Can meet girls that are into any of these things just about anywhere! :) Hard to give suggestions really. Guys that I meet that are into similar things, I just usually find out by chance that they like these things.
that's a good point. goth girls are more creative and imaginative like that, think outside of the box, a little bohemian, I like that
and yeah, I'm not looking for goths that are twilight obsessed, butch, or look trashy. but I like good looking goth girls.
Twilight obsessed ones are not real goth. Just groupie. I think that's cool that you are looking for females like that. A lot of times, people seem to be nervous with that if they are not into it themselves. I am sorry I can't really make suggestions about how to meet others. I've typically just been approached by guys who are attracted to it, or been pleasantly surprised if a crush is into similar things.
I hate trashy. I think lace and ribbons with dark is much nicer.
I've known a few Butch goths before. I don't have a grudge or so, but it's just not my taste with that. I'm the type that wears pretty clothing, cloth slippers, and have my little earring studs.
yeah that's the kind of goth I like.
idk too many girls post high school that are goth/metal/punk but I imagine they hang out at skateboard shops? or maybe that's hipster kid idk. I was emo/scene when I was high school and to be honest I kinda miss those days of dress all crazy and in dark clothing. I use to hangout at arcades/the mall back then. I guess try those places? I don't think those kinds of girls care how there boyfriend dresses as long as he accepts them for who they are (:
1. I have dated a preppy guy, I didn't find his choice of clothing very attractive.
2. Usually there are. Most of them come from broken homes, needless to say we have no respect for yuppies who had everything handed to them.
3. Concert venues.
Uh? are there girls like that on this site?
who knows
Try your local cemetery.
haha lol
