Pinup girl posters in a guy's room? What do you think?

I'm in college, and I notice a lot of guys have posters of "pinup" girls in their rooms ex. bunch of girls in bikinis or models. What does everyone think when they see these types of posters up in a guy's room/place?

I don't personally have any Because I think it's kind of a tool/bro thing and like really what's the point of having a picture of kate upton in a bikini up on my wall

It's just so stereotypical! My boyfriend's roommate put one on their refrigerator. You know, because who doesn't want to look at a bunch of chicks in thongs laying down at the beach while getting a glass of water? It really goes well with the Captain America decals he put on the walls.

I don't automatically think that a guy is a tool for having them, I just think that he's not very original.

I think it's pretty weird. I've walked into a couple of guys rooms and seen posters of girls in lingerie on motorcycles and stuff and I think it's just weird, especially because I don't know any girls who have posters of hot guys up on the walls, unless you count the Avengers poster my roommate and I have.

But I don't think that's what a pinup is.

Well just because yours is like that doesn't mean all are. Guys do it way more than girls, and there's no reason for you to call me a hypocrite.

Guys do it more for one reason: because its more acceptable if a girl does it she's automatically labeled a slut.

I would think they jerk off to those poster images. I don't know. Why do guys put it up in the first place? I wouldn't want to make out with a guy in his room and while we are doing it, he's looking at that poster. You have better class, my man.

Yes, I never went in for these posters either. They seem like a substitute for real life, to me. And they make you look kind of juvenile when any mature people visit your place.

I think its a tool move, I have to agree with the other wise ladies that I would be uncomfortable with them being all over guys room and doing any sort of sexual activity. They just jerk off to them I assume.
