How Do You Girls Rate Guys Hotness?

I just don't understand how you girls rate it, So please tell how me how you do it, not what's inside but what's outside.

Its based on your face (sexual dimorphism, clear skin, striking eyes, not having any features to big or to small, symmetry and spacing), your hair (don't be bald, styled and long/short depending on the girl judging), your height (taller than her is usually a must, although you can't really tell this from a picture) and your build (size of your muscles, how broad your shoulders are and having a low body fat percentage).

Having said that the whole idea of assigning a number is pretty odd imo. I struggle to rate women out of 10. The worst thing is it means nothing as some people make average 5 and some people make average 7. Furthermore I wouldn't rate anyone I know more than about an 8 as realistically they aren't as good looking as say a supermodel who would be 9 or 10. Yet every guy seems to claim to have slept with 'a few 9's and 10's'. I want to know where all these underwear models who shag average looking men are.

It works much better to think of it as categories (ugly, average, hot) rather than out of 10. A rating out of 10 could work if it was clearer as to what each number means.

For example...

Abnormally good looking (model who has one in 100,000 good looks) - 10

Good looking (the best looking people you know, say top 5%) - 9

Above average (the next 25% of people) - 7/8

Average (the next 40% of people) - 4/5/6

Below average (the next 25% of people) - 2/3

Ugly (the bottom 5%, probably got picked on in school for the way they look) - 1

Abnormally ugly (usually the result of a horrific injury or disfigurement) - 0

I don't think 30% of people would be happy at being rated 3 or below though, probably why everyone just tells them they are a 6/7 lol

all I know based on webpages like hot or not 80% of guys are below 50%

Very similar to the way guys rate girls, it's often cues were aren't even consciously aware of like Alonso14 described (I know them from my psychology classes).

All people tend to look for a symmetrical face, clear skin, healthy weight, and signs that they have been through puberty. Specifically for men, attractive features include a strong jaw and brow, broad shoulders, defined muscles, taller height, and a full head of hair.

Well I kinda thought I was ugly for 3 years of high school than on graduation someone was trolling and asked everyone "girls do you think (lets just say my name is ElCoffee) ElCoffee is hot"? every girl said yes, so I was like " what the f***!?" and because of that I thought kinda low of myself... now I'm so confident... 3 years wasted ma life o.o

Don't think of it as time wasted. I always saw myself as the "average" or less pretty one of my friends in high school. Then as soon as I graduated, all the guys started asking me out and telling me how big of a crush they had on me in high school. I don't think it was a bad thing. It actually made me strive to develop intelligence and a personality instead of relying on looks to get ahead in life. If the same is true for you, you're now the complete package.

It you want us to csll you"hotness" Your face has to look right and your body has to be tight! ;P That means you have to have at least and cute face and muscular body with a nice smile. And good fitting/stylish clothing to show off them muscles .
