WTF is Up with Boob, Butt, Leg or Face 'Men'?

I would think all men would always require a pretty face along with something, but I saw my ex's ex from New Jersey, and great body and she was homely in the face.

You know what I watch too many TV shows and movies like this because that's where I really heard these statements. It doesn't seem the guys here are really doing that.

All men will notice certain thing first.

A test was done. All men upon meeting someone inadvertently look at their crotch. Even with animals, apparently the first place their eyes flick to for a split second is there. A woman's eyes will flick to a person or animals face first.

After that, it's down to preference. All men have a preference, just like women do (although ours are centred around different things). And with those preferences come ranks, just like women.

Eg. Some women love strong jawlines and dark hair but can't stand chest hair. Some men adore a beautiful face but can live with a so so body.

We all have preferences, we all compromise, I think it's a little harsh on men 'cause a lot of them are actually quite considerate guys and give and take when it comes to their women.

Clarification: In nature, they might be checking genital regions (I'm trying to be as formal as possible here) to match up in virility, size, etc, as you said, Hidden P, in case of male to male or attraction in case of male to female. This probably happens in the animal kingdom. Those who don't dig evolution might not like the fact we once were animals/cavemen. I believe in God/Higher Power and all of evolution at the same time. I think guys want to see a pretty face when they're in a long term relationship with someone most of all. I don't think that guys want girls with one great feature, though. They are probably attracted to girls with a great bust-waist-hip ratio based off of the ideal "36-24-36." Of course, this means that this applies to 38-26-38, 40-28-40, etc. And numbers can be a little off like 36-25-36. I've heard guys say that they like boobs in general of all sizes as long as they have a nice shape and butts that are either a cute "bubble" shape or some like a big one:b. I see what you are saying about using it as a scapegoat but you do realize that there are biological reasons why men really can't control the actions of their penis, like morning erections etc. It's common for men to have pet names for it and to play games with it throughout there life starting at potty training. It seems natural for external sex organs to be handled differently than the internal. I was referring to self identification in males not just using it sexually.

Everyone cares about face and body.

I'd say women are the same to a milder extent. Put aside face - when it comes to body, some women are more Into arms, some into chests and shoulders, some into abs.

As for face vs. body, when I was young I would have said both. Now that I'm older I'd say I'd compromise more on face. A girl with an average face and above average body is sexually desirable and I will probably love her smile and eyes if I fall for her. But I need the raw attraction.

Your first line is an excellent observation. First of all, I think women I know that say that woman is 'a dog' or 'ugly' is way off. She's just not trying to attract a man or put on the war paint and be society's answer to sexy. My experience is men like a feisty, hard-to-get attitude with an overall attractive, stylish package. In some ways that putting I'm an effort matters though. It could be that yes, there are wen who could be very attractive but present themselves in a way that suggests 'I'm not looking to attract men'. And men pick up on that and leave her alone.

Very few men would say that they like feisty women - though most like some energy. I'm guessing your idea of feisty is a little milder then what men think of as 'feisty'. As to hard to get, I'd hazard a guess that men who get women easily like it

Guys like to systemize, I guess. We put people and things into rigid, well-defined categories.

In this case, a lot of guys have a part of the female anatomy that they have a special affection for. it doesn't mean we're incapable of appreciating other things but when you categorize people things seem black and white, people become caricatures and things quickly get ridiculous. When you categorize, people become defined by one attribute rather than being complex and nuanced.

While some guys may consider themselves "ass men" or "boob men", it's not something I would get hung up about. They're still human, not robots.

I think everyone likes combinations. Not many men are going to be happy with a girl who just has good legs but has a horrendous face. But we do have preferences, and that's what we mean when we say "I'm a ___ man". I personally am a face man, because that's what I value most in a girl's looks. I'd rather date a girl with a beautiful face and a slightly overweight figure than a girl with a killer body but a below average face. If we're talking boobs vs butt, I prefer boobs. For me it's all definitely very close together, and each of these parts can be deeply appreciated in it's own way much more finely in intimate moments, but as for first noticings, I go butt, then hips/hip figure/curves, then face if I'm really looking at her, which I always endeavor to do discreetly, I think it's rude to stare as you check someone out.

Then see how fit she is, is there some athletic tone, some smooth definition to the curves? It's because they are all good primary indicators of fertility and genome health that can be assessed and processed in seconds by the brain, and evoke strong unconscious attraction if all other indicators of genetics work out: symmetrical features, good teeth, complexion and so forth. It's really that simple. Men don't view women solely as these, well not the normal ones.

The boobs and bum thing thing is because larger boobs are heavier and tend to indicate fecundity, also generally the heavier larger boobs tend to droop with age if not supported, hence larger boobs that are higher placed/pert indicate fertility/youth. But a D or DD cup is not enough on it's own, so if you're as ugly as sin or plain, the big boobs won't turn on men as much as a pretty woman (obvious to some, but there you go!)

Let's say you have everything I like except one thing, I'm sure I could still work with that.
