They enjoy my company because I can talk smack like them and I enjoy their company for a change from my girlfriends circle because sometimes girls tend to be melodramatic and bitch about everything whereas guys throw it out in the open. Don't get me wrong, I love my girlfriends to bits but I equally enjoy the company of my male mates a lot too. If I meet someone new, I hope he would accept that I have guy buddies I'm close to. If you really like her, you've got to learn to accept that part of her life.
Im a girl and I can relate. When girls get together its awesome but then again I don't enjoy the gossips, the stupid theories about guys , the fashion talk or the drama that most of us loovveee. In my situation I have friends that get really emotional and are in denial about their relationships and I hate to be the one speaking the truth because nowadays knowing and saying what's best is considered bitchy . Guys on the other hand don't over think everything and are usually all about having fun, sometimes that's what a girl needs
I look girlie, heels, dresses, makeup but my interests lie in sport, sci-fi, history basically what are considered by most as "male" interests and so I find it easier to relate to guys. Most of my friends are male because we grew up together, I was the only girl on a boys sports team and because of spending so much more time with guys I have a tendency to think like them.
When someone says that, I think they are either a tomboy or that's their way of saying that they are d*** crazy without actually saying it. You said she was girly, so...

Id say that means she likes a lot of the same things as guys do, and probably thinks like they do in a lot of aspects. Basically she's saying she can relate to guys and think and like what they like and think like they think.
