When a guy bites your arm, what does it mean?

so a bunch of us from school went out on a trip, and in the group there is this guy who admitted to being attracted to me. However, we try to keep things light, we flirt and joke but that's about it. So as I was talking to people he snuck up from behind and playfully bit my arm. I was wondering if this gesture has more to it than being playful ?

I think he was just joking around. If you look at the sexual aspect of it, then maybe it means he wants to maybe try to kiss you or even give you a hickie. He did admit that he was attracted to you so he might try to do more playfull moves like that to flirt.

Biting or any other physical contact to that degree indicates that he physically wants you... a lot.
