What personal qualities give a guy charm? How much of a role do his looks play? In order to be charming, does one need to be handsome?

Guys don't have to be particularly handsome to be able to be charming. I find a guy charming if he's sweet, kind, generous and funny. So basically, how charming a guy is means (at least to me) that he has a great personality. Simple as that. If he somehow lacks a little in looks, at least he has the personality to make up for it. Besides, when I REALLY click with someone on a very personal level, they instantly become more handsome/hot in my eyes anyway.

I find a charming man to be handsome and kinda like draws you in with how he is! he'll use those smooth pick up lines and have a smart humor and one of those great smiles and well mannered! that's what I consider a charming guy to be.
