My natural hair color is growing back but now it's the color it was when I was younger...a dark brown with auburn highlights. I didn't think it was to noticeable but my mom noticed, my roommie noticed and my boyfriend noticed -_- I normally dye it black but I'm wondering if it's a boring color?

please don't say dye it blond or red because I'm not white and it's tacky as hell for minorities to dye it those colors

Not at all! :) As you can see I have had black hair for years, and men have love it. It's mysterious and rich! However, in the past month I have changed my hair color to a light brown with dark blond highlights just for a change. I still like my dark black I had, but this is a nice change and I plan to keep it up. :)

Maybe try a chocolate brown if you want a subtle change, see how you like it. But if black is the color you like best on you then work it girl! ;)

No, it's not.

Maybe when you have brown eyes and black hair... It makes it look dull, IMO.

Hence why I used to hate black hair, so I kept dying my hair auburn, brown.. etc,..

But honestly, keep it black. It's natural and no one can get tired of the color especially, like any other color hair. If you keep it looking healthy, it's gorgeous.
