Does it mean anything if guy always uses your name?

I mean in a excessive amount. When we pass by he address me by name, when saying anything its always with my name. Sometimes a few times in same conversation. Even in text - which clearly is directed at me - he uses my name. Guys, what are some reasons for this?

Okay update. He is still constantly addressing me by first name. In conversation and at work and in text. It's noticeable enough that coworkers have commented on it to me, because he does not address others frequently with name. Even my daughter noticed that he uses it often. Why do you suppose he does this? Respect, authority, "crush", friendly, just likes my name? This is newer for him to do say last several months.

In some cultures, you start most sentences with a person's name. I and Japan, for example.

I think people who do this are unconsciously being influenced by their ancestors' culture and langauge patterns, in ths way.

They may not be at all aware they using people's name to address them, in many cases.

They may no longer speak any foreign langauge, but they still show the influence of their 'mother' tongue.

He doesn't do this with everyone else, and with me it's a recent adaption.. that's why I noticed it because it was new.

For a while, I was using her name in texts (texting and calling is the only way we communicate right now as we are 3000 miles from each other) however, I've stopped doing it simply because it got boring and annoying. I wonder if she misses it?

I think I was doing it because I liked the idea of who it was, now it's come and gone and I've gotten over it. She's just a regular person to me now (you'd have to understand my situation to really get what I'm saying)

You know how when something happens and you notice it, but then you rationalize it as well maybe I was looking for it? Like say you buy a red car - suddenly everywhere there are red cars but then someone else who drives a blue car (no vested interest in matter at all) says to you hey there's a lit if red cars...it's like that. Thought it was just me but now others are noticing also. I truly don't know how to take this behavior. Yes this man in particular perplexes me! "Signs" seem so mixed.

Possibly, however they are reaffirming that its out if the ordinary. Sometimes having outsiders perspective on situation can be very insightful. I know how I feel on subject but am not well versed on interpretation of his behavior. I personally think he may not even be aware of his emotions and/or feelings towards me.
