i feel like the word beautiful is used excessively so when people tell me I'm gorgeous I feel prettier

I prefer "terrifying" or "lethal". Also, if someone is saying something nice about me TO me, I pretty much don't think it's appropriate to feel slighted because their choice of words isn't to my particular liking. Anyway, "gorgeous" and "beautiful" are synonyms. As long as I'm not being called a vapid twat, I'm good.

Beautiful. I feel like gorgeous is one of those words that's reserved for when you're dressed up to the nines. If a guy uses a word like gorgeous when I'm wearing jeans and a t-shirt, I feel like he just wants to nail me.
