How to get him to be more touchy?

This guy I know really wants to touch me he says but when we're in person he chickens out/ freezes up and doesn't do anything. And if he does it's little and subtle. How do I get this guy to just go big and touch me more...for instance in a hug? I want his hands to wander more :)

If I was close enough to a girl, I would already hugged her from the back and slapped her behind by now but enough of that.

I would say, if I were the guy, you should initiate it like start hugging him from the back. If you guys are sitting on the couch and watching TV, put your head against his shoulder, then wrap your arms around his closest arm. Let him know that you are comfortable with him, so in return it also signals him that by you touching him, there's that trust through touch.

If you hug him, tease him by grabbing his butt. I bet you like getting touched in the hips too. I like holding girls at their hips feeling that hip bone all together. ;)

Some guys will react positively to this, some guys want you to go all out like a freak but bottom line is you know his personality so it's your call but I'm sure he'll like it. hahaha

Initiate. Put your hand around his back/waist, grab his hand, throw your arms out for a hug, do something besides just standing there. I can't count the number of times I've been hanging out with a girl and they just stand there all timid like because everyone in the world seems to think that women can't be asked to do anything. It's not the 1950's anymore, it's OK for you to hug a guy if you want lol

It's not the "job" of any gender, and I don't know why people wait for guys to do everything. Just hug him and get more physical with him and he'll follow suite.
