Have you ever carried on someone's legacy?

You, young person, are given the task of carrying on a legacy, whomever's it may be, do you accept it? I, for instance, if I were to carry on a legacy, would be a health professional as my parents were; some families are full of engineers, some social workers and their ilk, others musicians, all carrying on the legacy and tradition.

I would if I could, but it's too late now. My dad's a pilot and I wished I had taken the subjects required to go to an aviation school. I've already majored in another field which is completely unrelated with aviation for 2 years now.

I didn't choose it to carry on a legacy, but that might be how it appears since both of my parents are in the same field.

As far as family, yes, My grandfather was a hard worker and provided for his family no matter how much it took. My father did the same and I will do that same thing too.
