I would like to be remembered for some things. If I ever publish any of my books, I'd like to use a percentage of the money to start a foundation to help homeless people. I'd like to be remembered for that, but not because I want to be remembered, but because I'd like to be an influence on other people. Maybe others will read about how I helped others and do it themselves.

I've been volunteering on the Salvation Army the past month, and when I'm out ringing bells for donations, I greet people as they pass by, and when I wish them a Merry Christmas, some of them are ignore me, and a few even make mean faces. From my experience, rude people like that do very little for others. Then three times a week we give out food, and I swear, 90% of the people we donate it to drive $60,000 cars and trucks, dress is nice clothes, and are from neighboring towns where the houses are upper class.

My point is though... the people who desperately need assistance aren't getting it. There are so many homeless people, and they all need help. If I died with hundreds of thousands of dollars, I'm not going to need all the money. Even now, if I made thousands of dollars, that's more money than I could spend. Why not give a large amount to people who need it. I'd like to be remembered for helping others though. Maybe others would take a lesson from me.

Oh this is me and my ego you know I'm going to bite.

Father, husband, innovator, artist, creator, thought leader, business owner, and friend. I'm a published poet, a recognized thought leader, business innovator, I've been the first in a number of business ideas, taught business classes for 8 years, as well as ran a spiritual community for many years. Made my first million before I was 25 (and promptly lost it), and I am sure I have missed a lot. Now if anyone else will add it I simply don't know, but they could do a crazy write up, both infamy and fame.

Might be fun to watch though.

Maya Angelou said it best. "People will not remember what you did, they will not remember what you said, they will always remember how you made them feel". 100 years from now nobody will remember 99% of todays citizens. Ever the more reason to work our stuff NOW, than to rely on somebody else reading about our exploits at a future date - long after we've passed on.
