What does it mean when a guy puts his arm around you a lot?

I really like this guy that goes to my school and I wanted to know what it meant when he puts his arms arond me.Like today I was walking with my friends to the bus and he came up and put his arms around me and pulled me away and we walked to the bus together.He does this everyday and yesterday he held my hand when we got off the bus ( :D ).He doesn't do this to anyone else and I was wondering what it meant?

It doesn't necessarily have to mean anything it could be that he sees you as one of his guy mates hence he is comfortable with putting his arms around your shoulders.

On the other hand, he could be putting his hands around because he's warning other guys off.this could be because he sees you as a mate or sister and wants to protect you. This could also be because he likes you. Since he holds your hand I think he likes you but is shy. Why do t you make the first move? Maybe ask him over or ask him to the Moines casually as friends or something
