What does it mean when a girl laughs at random things I say?

I'm not trying to be funny, and a lot of times I'll say something random completely calm, she'll start laughing and even cracking up sometimes, and I'll smile when she laughs, but not laugh myself Because it will just be something random I said.

Do girls just do this because a guy is funny and doesn't realize it, or is she trying to get my attention?

I only laugh when the person is genuine , which just happened to me , I was on a date and the guy is so calm,and the way he tells a story is funny because the way he says it. it's the contradiction between being quite and the way you tell the story...if the person is so excited when they tell a story that doesnot deserve to, it takes the energy from your laugh, but when you are calm, it kinda initiate the listener to laugh. I don't know how to explain it better. if you feel she's genuine then she definitely is. it's not uncommon.

She's trying to get your attention...unless you are saying something extremely hilarious, girls will usually not crack up at every single thing that you say. If you don't like her, I would suggest making a comment about how you didn't really say anything funny, and she'll get the hint. If you do like her, laugh and smile with her! It may make her feel like she doesn't have to try so hard to get your attention if you're giving it back to her.

I do that if I like someone even if I don't want to date them but I like them as a person ill do that. Not to everyone though some people are just naturally funny no matter what they say
