What's a good bikini body?

What are the qualities of a good bikini body? Who shouldn't wear one?

I think a good bikini body has large breasts (say D or DD), a flat stomach and hourglass figure. Very few girls have large breasts and have a flat stomach though. For those who should not wear bikinis, then I think if you have any major bits of visible cellulite or fat or saggy bits then it could be better to cover up.

Honestly, if you want to wear a bikini just do it, no matter your body type. Do you like the bikini? Then put it on. There are many different styles of bikinis that suit many body types. Just because somebody doesn't have what guys describe the «perfect bikini body» doesn't mean she can't wear one.

In my opinion, a nice toned fit body is the best above all. Nothing better than being fit. Also in terms of the bra size as long as you can distinguish the difference between a man and a woman is fine :)

Petite (bikinis aren't really flattering for very tall, skinny girls)

Wide hips (and yes, dare I say it, a thigh gap!), small waist and flat stomach (not fatties)

Small to average size boobs (a bikini and really big boobs looks a bit trashy)

Tanned skin

If you can count more than two ribs, or if your belly hangs over the bottom, try a different suit. If your breasts are really big and the bikini looks like its there to cover your nipples and nothing else, or they are really small and the suit is covering them not providing support, try a different suit. The bikini was built for a VERY SPECIFIC body type. Take an honest guy with you. A guy who you can trust. Don't ask him if he would help you pick out a bikini, ask him if he would help you pick a swimsuit, include some bikinis and other suits too. Better yet bring a couple guys and girls, who won't just tell you what you want to hear.

C size boobs or smaller and a somewhat flat stomach. Love handles are also a big no no with bikinis. I think everyone should wear a bikini, as long as their stomach doesn't cover their bottoms. Then it just looks disturbing.

I think D's are fine in a bikini. Taut tummy...somewhat flat, curvy bottom especially.

Agreed with the stomach. Doesn't matter if you are old or fat as long as you gut doesn't hang over your bottom piece.

I've always worn one pieces, partly for that reason. I feel they cover up the chest better. But if you think they enhance a two piece then maybe I should start wearing them.

A mostly flat stomach is preferred. As long as your stomach doesn't completely hang over the bottoms, you're fine.
