I think stockings are sexy. Do women think they are just a pain?

I noticed not many women wear stockings or pantyhose anymore. Is it just a pain to wear them? I know many men out there find them sexy. Thanks for the input.

I wear tights every single day for work - I work in an office and going in with heels and a skirt is considered the norm... to the point where if you don't you'll probably get a raised eyebrow!

I like wearing tights but they are expensive and annoying when you get a ladder in them. For all that money and you can't wear them more than a handful of times!

I've decided to invest a bit more and buy thicker ones - they last longer and I would rather wear tights with the tummy support (because I'm conscious about my tum) and feel confident than buy the cheapest I can find and feel like a sack of potatoes.

I like wearing stockings but I don't really get an occasion to. They can be really hard to disguise as well if you have them under a mini skirt they do like to peep out which spoils the surprise!

Yes hon, the old fashioned thin stockings are a pain. I used to watch my mother putting them on in the morning, you kind of have to roll them up and they are thin and honestly uncomfortable, some times they kind of fall down in the upper crotch part and you have to pull them up and stuff during the day. They also squeeze your ass cheeks together in a compression way and it's UNCOMFORTABLE. And they are also easy to get snagged and runs in them.

I do wear leggings they are comfortable but these are thicker and I don't think this is what you are talking about. These are also warmer which works for winter.

One of the most annoying parts of being female is that "Sexy clothes" also tends to be unpractical, COLD, uncomfortable and costly. Bulk is unsexy but it's also what keeps people warm.

They are a pain, but I would wear them every single day if my boyfriend thought they were sexy. I feel incredibly sexy wearing them, but they just get torn so easily! Garter belts and thigh highs = mmmm. But my boyfriend always says he likes my bare legs better, so I just don't bother :(

I fully agree with you. Stockings and pantyhose are typically feminine and make the girl even more a class woman and a sexy occurance!

And stockings are just that little bit more sexy than pantyhose.

Although, in the end, of course, it's the lady inside that REALLY matters!

I love my stockings and garter belts, in fact I have so many different kinds, I'd say that I have a pair to go with every dress I own. My boyfriend's favorite are the black fishnets with the purple seams that run up the back of each stocking. He loves seeing me in those and always suggests that I wear black stilettos with them. I wonder why ;)

I still do, if it's not too cold to wear stockings. But they could be a pain when you have to pee.

I agree with you...Very sexy! I love fine hosier of all styles, and wear them almost every day. They feel silky, and make a womans legs look more finished and polished, when wearing a great outfit.

I'm pretty careful about my hose, so maybe once per month I may have to throw out a pair. This may be conservative, when compared to other girls. I tend to spend a lot on mine, and go for the more expensive brands like Givenchy, Hanes Silk Reflections or Wolfords from the UK. I look at it like it's kind of investment-You get what you pay for. The cheaper brands will give out more frequently.

When was the last time you tried on a pair? They make me itch, I hate tight cloths that cling to my skin and they are a pain if you get the toe on wrong so the seam is bugging your toes! Drives me crazy.

Sometimes they are a hassle to put on, especially if they're the thin pantyhose. I think they are absolutely sexy and I always feel that way when I wear them.

Leotards/tights are easier to put on but I might as well just wear leggings.

the thing is most of them never really fit me well since I could never find one my size. Almost all of them were either too small, or too big. It's hard finding one that fits perfectly. The price though, I don't know. It's been years since I baught one since I still have old ones that look brand new.
