What does it mean when a guy replies with, yea?

I messaged a guy friends that I met through tagged on kik messenger. I typed Hey Myron & he always types hey Victoria, hey Tori, or Hey stranger. This time he only typed Hi. So I asked him how was he & he types I'm well...yourself? I typed I'm good and he's like that's good. Then I asked what did you do today & he typed worked...which I'm still doing.

I typed okay, maybe I'll message you later. Have a blessed day. He then replies with ...yea

Is this reponse rude or not? What does it mean? Next time I message him on kik messenger must I bring it up & ask him or not? Is this a bad thing? The questions I asked him, were they okay?

You're reading to far into it. Didn't he say that he was at work? That's means he is BUSY. Instead of continuing to drag out the conversation,maybe you could have just been quicker to end the convo.

Also,you have given no real history on the two of you,how is anyone suppose to answer if this is rude or not?

i can't judge that as rude because if you only talked to him a few times and most guys do talk vaguely. You don't even know him in person so its definitely not rude at all.

Have you ever talked to this guy in person? Seems like he just doesn't care but I don't about how close you two are to make an accurate judgment
