I want to say no, I think they mean it as in just rolling with it & to not expect much so you’re not disappointed. I do think it can depend on the context & the person you’re dealing with, you can gauge if it’s coming from a trusted source or if the person is straight up negative. For example like if you’re interviewing at a job, going on a 1st date etc; these are situations you only have *so* much control over & can go very bad or good as we know.

There's two types of bacon, back bacon and streaky bacon. I'm not included turkey bacon or Canadian bacon because in my book it's not real bacon.

I really don’t like when people are like “text me”…no you text ME. Long story short, I matched with someone on bumble a few months ago & meeting up fell through the cracks (my fault). I reach out to him maybe a month ago & he didn’t reply, figured he wasn’t interested and we end up matching on another app last wk which shocked me. He reaches out, I told him I tried reaching recently on bumble & he said he didn’t know bc he hasn’t checked the app in a while. We’re in the works of potentially meeting tomorrow & he suggests a place/gives info on the place then says “we’ll have better communication if you text me (gives #)”. I only message on the app & kinda hold off on giving my # anyway but still would’ve preferred “could I have your number?” This is how I feel🤷🏻‍♀️

I love birthdays because I am around the people that I love. It's a day in which I feel I am special, at least for some people.
Even though I found birthdays amazing, I know a lot of people who hate to celebrate. What do you think the reason may be? Are they scared to get old?

Do you like to celebrate? Why, or why not? What's your opinion?


Ps: If you don't know why we blow candles on our BD, here is the reason:
Blowing out birthday candles is rooted in Greek and German customs, believed to send wishes to the gods and signify the light of life with an extra candle for good luck.

I like this watch. I tried to search it but I can’t find it. I found other watches if the same brand and cost ridiculous prices being used!
I can only imagine this one would be far more than 18k. What do you guys think? Would you pay this amount for something you really like that is already used?
