Me and my ex recently got back in touch after 6 months. We weren’t no contact but he unblocked me and messaged as he found out I had a relapse with mental health.

He is concerned. Says he still finds me attractive but takes forever to reply to me. He’s in America for work at the moment and I’m in UK but even when the time difference isn’t bad he doesn’t reply.
I miss him terribly and don’t know how to deal with it going forward. What must he be thinking? Why doesn’t he just block me again now he knows I’m ok?

My boyfriend went over to his parents house last minute for dinner - I didn’t go cuz I was busy with job related stuff (I work from home).

so my boyfriends sister in law was asking him financial questions about me and if I’m looking for work outside the home…. then she asks him if he’s happy in this relationship with me…then my bfs mom told her off to stop talking about me and my boyfriend also told her off as well and to mind her own business…

is she jealous of us or trying to break us apart? Why was my bfs sister in law asking personal questions about me behind my back?

also right from day 1 my bfs brother has been in our business all the time and kept asking me to go move in with my boyfriend ( his younger brother)

My ex and I got into a debate about this. I think 18 year olds should be allowed to drink since they can go to war.

Long story short, we matched & spoke for a few wks on bumble a few months ago. He asked to meet up, the times he gave weren’t working & I was new at a job/stressed at the time. He follows up again during this time & I didn’t follow through, flash fwd to a little over a month ago & I regretted not meeting up. I sent him a well thought message & he never replied so I assumed he wasn’t interested. 2 wks ago, we end up matching on another app & I was shocked. He msgs me saying he remembers me & I told him I tried reaching out recently but apparently he didn’t know bc he hasn’t checked bumble in a while. He is the one who then asked for another chance from me since I thought he left me on read a few months ago.

We met up for first time last Sat afternoon, he bought me food at this casual Mexican spot & he seemed okay with continuing talking but I ended it a little over the hr mark (said I had to finish errands). He asked if I had something planned & I said yes, he wanted to know where my car was & wanted to walk me to my car. I was kind of walking in front of him though, I said thanks and he said have a good rest of your day. It’s not like he ended the meet-up or there was awkward silence during it, I felt like we both spoke enough/convo flowed fine but I must’ve overestimated it. Everyone on the internet is saying I made it obvious I wasn’t interested but he was kind of reserved too, I’ve acted less interested meeting guys before & they still wanted to meet again🤷🏻‍♀️. Sounds mutual in this case

As a 6’4 young woman, it’s a hell yeah for me!! For once I wanna feel small and have a man wrap his arms around me and I feel smaller. Face it, most women wanna feel small.

Do you wish you had bigger or smaller feet?

I wear a size 13/13.5 in women’s shoe, sometimes 14 and it fucking sucks!

I wish my feet were smaller like a size 9-10, even an 11. My feet are narrow.

Back in Victorian times a muffin walloper was an unmarried women who stuffed herself with cakes while gossiping to her friends. But when you hear the word muffin what springs to mind?

Do you think of the soft bready type you have for breakfast, perhaps filled with bacon or topped with egg and cheese. Or do you think of the small billowing cakes, perhaps blueberry or chocolate chip.

So I heard a lot that Russian make fun of American for going to the store in pajamas.

I never actually went to the store in pajamas before but as I get older if I find comfortable pajamas that don’t look too “pajama’ish” , I wouldn’t change just to to go grab some milk and eggs etc.

so I’ll be going to Russia soon and it’s so cold there during this time, if I actually went in my pajamas to the store, would I be harshly judged?

would my Russian boyfriend be embarrassed? Disappointed? Or think bad or less of me if I were to do this?

if someone is Russian here your opinion would be great but anyone else just imagine in our culture people never do this and then someone comes and does this, would it really bother you? To what extent or how would you view this person?

If I look not so awful and rather cute in doing this, could I possibly be encouraging others to start doing the same, therefore creating something that is not so pleasant in a different country with different standards?

There are actually turkeys that cost 1/5 of everything on my list but my dad says our family is recovering from the flu and he would rather hire people to cook his turkey dinner then exhaust himself in the kitchen to make food with my mom and I.

I was talking to a lawyer who retired after a health situation and he told me that everybody has problems. He told me, you should not be ashamed that your life isn't perfect because nobody's life is flawless.

Another guy told me everybody has problems, but most are just good at hiding it so that their problems don't become public information.

He comments on one a little less offensive and just keeps commenting like a troll.

Parkin, also known as Thor cake, is a type of gingerbread cake made with added oats that's eaten around Halloween time in the North of England particularly Yorkshire and Derbyshire. It's not that popular outside that area so have you tried it?
