Attractive guy that I connected on linked in with some years ago has started over the last few months, viewing my profile a lot. Sometimes daily. He asked for my number from a mutual friend and messaged because I was poorly, that’s it. He doesn’t message on my phone but is still checking out my LinkedIn profile. When we first connected we sent a few messages which were totally work related but he has recently split with his long term girlfriend. I fancy him but don’t want to look silly if I reach out and get rejected! Why view my profile so often, which I can obviously see but not message? Shy maybe?

I was supposed to start chipotle in a week starting at $12/hr. However I was also just offered another job at $17/hr.

Pros of each job:

Chipotle: free college!!

Other job: better schedule, more $$, job I like better

I am now torn. Id feel very bad for quitting chipotle since I didn’t even get to start and the free college does sound nice, since I want to go back to school in a year or so.

However $17/hr also works way better for my schedule, is $5 more an hour, plus it’s a job I’m used to. I could also get funding through a different program for school.

What do y’all think I should choose?

Nowadays girls mainly wear leggings in a gym. Depending on the season, I wear a legging or a short. Why is it that most girls wear leggings?

- it is dictated by gym fashion rules, so everybody does it.

- they feel insecure about their legs and hide them

Imagine your life is a movie, and you're the main character because it's your life. Are you a protagonist who is a hero, anti-hero, or villain? Why?

If you're wondering about me:It's me hi, I'm the problem, it's me. I think I'd be the anti-hero and no, it's not just because I'm a Taylor Swift fan. I think at the core, I'm the kind of person who always tries to do the right thing, but, sometimes when I'm a little too in my feelings I can become reckless and selfish and act irrationally because I feel bad, and that creates damage I only see after the damage has been done. Why I'd not class myself as a villain is because usually after I see the damage I've done, I will try to fix it and own up to my mistake, and I feel a villain would just take the completely selfish route and ruin things because if they can't be happy nobody can, whereas I still may not be happy but once I'm back to rationality I'm like: "Okay I did something bad, how can I fix this?" Also I tend to have a lot self-sabotaging qualities that I'm completely aware of, but for the most part indulge in anyway and often I do little to change but I'm trying to change that now, I just can't expect it to happen overnight. In the past my thought process was more: "I'm destructing myself, not anyone else, so why should I care? It's just me." But that's an incredibly toxic mindset to have and I'm trying to change because I have a lot of potential to do well, but because of my self-destructive tendencies that potential often just stays potential. But I will change don't worry.

I'm curious as to how many married couples married someone like a childhood friend vs someone they ran into and got romantically involved shortly thereafter.

In other words how long was it before you and your spouse got romantically involved? You can use a measurement of 6 months for the yes or no poll (was it over 6 months since meeting each other before you and your spouse got romantically involved).

One of these exes is happily married and the other one has a questionable reputation. You want to be a graceful lady. Should you agree to have these girls on your big day?

We've dated a bit but it came to seem he was more interested in sex. Something I broached & in response we arranged to go to a movie.

Come movie day we talk 3 times over the phone. He doesn't mention this friend once. Says he'll be at my place in a few hours.

Long story short he finally answers why he never showed 3 hours AFTER arriving at his friend's. 6-7 hours after we spoke about going to the movies.

Never thought about texting or calling.

And this is despite saying he loves me.

This to me proves he's only interested in sex. But he is trying to say he's not and that to find the "truth" I should be more objective. What truth? He failed to prove he cares beyond sex in my eyes.

Should I ask what truth or just block him?

I'm about to eat my potato salad with an egg but knowing that new years is coming, I wonder if y'all would be taking bets as a little celebratory bit for staying alive this whole year and not dying. Or you're not and happy to just be alive. Either way, what will y'all be doing that might b fun this new year's eve?
