Which job should I pick?

I was supposed to start chipotle in a week starting at $12/hr. However I was also just offered another job at $17/hr.

Pros of each job:

Chipotle: free college!!

Other job: better schedule, more $$, job I like better

I am now torn. Id feel very bad for quitting chipotle since I didn’t even get to start and the free college does sound nice, since I want to go back to school in a year or so.

However $17/hr also works way better for my schedule, is $5 more an hour, plus it’s a job I’m used to. I could also get funding through a different program for school.

What do y’all think I should choose?

Chipotle $12/hr

Other Job $17/hr

Forgot to mention that the free college is only for certain degrees!

Wow, you guys get paid that low? I live in Connecticut and work in New York City. In NYC, you can't pay anyone lower than $15 an hour. McDonald's pays $15 an hour. Wait, I think it went up to $20 an hour.

They can't pay you low in NYC because the cost of living is too high. I get paid $210k a year at my software engineering job.

But yeah, try to see if the new job has any tuition reimbursement.

Free college makes that a win…. Debt on supplemental loans…be careful

Free college sounds great... until you realize it's actually costing you $5 an hour! College doesn't seem to count for much now anyway.
