I’m at cappadocia in Turkey right now and I went on a atv tour with my boyfriend. He was on my back and has one guide. The guide drives atv really fast. At first he put my boyfriend in the back and drive around really fast then he told me to get in the back and drive really fast around but nothing happened. So I want my boyfriend to drive too and the guide told me to get on his back and hug him so I did and put my hands around his waist but he drives faster and put my hands on his pants and I put it up on his waist and he put it down there again. Then I put my hands away from him , he started to drives faster and he put my hands there. After I got back to my hotel I told my boyfriend so he told the owner of the hotel and atv company and he probably get fired already. My boyfriend said it was 100% my fault that I didn’t protect myself and fight him and he said that the owner of the hotel think that I’m a hoe. I don’t understand how is it turn into my fault. Something like this happened to me when I was young and it gives me flashbacks.

I'm just curious how m any of you will choose which option in this poll.. Like which ones of you would prefer to go bald rather than letting your hair grow and never cut it again regardless of split ends and such

Tests on three mummies found in Argentina have shed new light on the Inca practice of child sacrifice.

Scientists have revealed that drugs and alcohol played a key part in the months and weeks leading up to the children's deaths.

Tests on one of the children, a teenage girl, suggest that she was heavily sedated just before her demise.

She is preserved this well because she was frozen during sleep and kept in a dry cold condition at more than 6000 meters above sea level all this time. No other treatment was necessary.

Found in 1999 near the top of the Llullaillaco volcano, in northwestern Argentina, she was an archaeological revolution for being one of the best preserved mummies, since there was even blood in her body and her internal organs remained.

Hey guys, I'm stuck between two options! Some peeps tell me to do the bride cuz I look like her. It would require a lot of work but I'm down to it. But I also love the gory butcher (it's more grotesque).

So, really cool makeup and outfit vs scary stuff!

He noticed me right away and I could tell he was trying to get my attention but never really spoke because I'm always just passing by quickly. (I will admit, I am not all that approachable.) Today, he looked me dead in my eyes no ambiguity and it's obvious he wants me. Taking his "approach" into account, should say hi and give him a green light or just ignore him? People (men and women) are all so ruthless and disloyal these days. I don't even want to bother.

I may be leading a larger apartment with the i trbtion of turning the living room into a studio and renting the rest.

I’m not interested in the use of a kitchen or cooking area as cooking is not something I want to invest my limited free time in doing. I just want one large room, and of course, we share the shower.

The only people I would make this arrangement with are people who are ok with it, so I’m not asking if you think the space arrangement is a bad idea, only about how to split the rent 🙂

I pay the first month last month & security deposit bc I’m leasing it. After that It would come out to approximately my paying slightly under half the rent (I have to get an exact measurement) The kitchen plus the smaller bedroom & master bedroom come to over half the apartment but the living room is very large.

Toxic person: someone who creates drama and arguments frequently and for no reason, treats others poorly, uses others for their own gain, is manipulative, is conceited, and justifes their bad behavior whenever confronted. In your opinion, what is the most effective and mature way to deal with such people and their negative impacts on your own life?

Disclaimer: I DO NOT. I’m asking this bc i find it peculiar many people have this mind set & are bothered by someone providing pertinent data as if it is a decision. With so many playing games. I think honesty is refreshing.

Being upfront about personal relationship goals on the second date seems very early for some, for others it is just being efficient and not wasting time. Yea you can develop feelings for the person and perhaps give up stuff important to you, but I think many people don’t want to fall into that trap - which I understand.

I can see both approaches having merit. Being open free and seeing how things go not worrying about the future until you know how you feel is one technique tho probably best suited to 15-26 year olds or people for whom relationships are not a priority. Life keeps moving and while you’re seeing “how things go” with someone you may end up not wanting to be with bc turns out tho you fell in love, you want very different things— other people are meeting people they settle with who might’ve been a really good fit for you 🤷🏻‍♀️

Being upfront knowing what you want sure saves a lot of hassle - tho not everyone reacts well. & perhaps what you want changes. I think with major things like sex or marriage it’s crucial to be on the same page. I understand bringing it up as early as possible it is very unlikely to change. You may agree to compromise, but it may be to the point either or both are miserable.

If a guy doesn’t tell me what’s important to him up front, that’s fine as long as it doesn’t Interfere with my ability to make an informed decision. Likewise, If he tells me straight up on say date two or three, that’s fine too —unless his actions betray his words. Then he’s not being upfront he’s being shifty.

But to be upfront, I would not see that as needy or desperate & I CERTAINLY not as indicative of having made up his mind about ME. 😂

If you had a great, loving relationship with you sibling (s), which is more hurtful? Losing the older sibling that you looked up to or losing your baby sibling you cared for/protected?

I have two tragic stories to share:

My friend lost her older brother (10 years her senior) whom was like a father figure and her personal martial arts instructor. Their father left when she was just a 3 month-old baby. He taught her how to cook and several other skills too. When she lost him in an auto accident a couple years ago (the dude was just 34), she felt lost in life. She felt nothing without him. Eventually she worked it out with a therapist.

I was reading a terrible story about a woman's baby sister getting stalked and killed. The girl has barely turned 18 and was the baby sibling in the house. All her siblings felt hopeless and powerless that they couldn't be there to protect her, to save her.
