It's about court, I had a trial date, but it was very far (it was next year) and I DESPERATELY needed to have it this summer before August 18th. I was seriously contemplating a suicide if the date wasn't going to move. But if you know anything about court, you know that they don't move dates unless you have a really good excuse like an open heart surgery that day... it's also hard to change the date due to the back log we have where I live.. the waiting for a full day trial is minimum of a year waiting. I had no excuse other than my personal beliefs.. my lawyer accepted to try to move the date (thinking that she was gonna ask for a shorter trial instead of a full day trial, (waiting is less long for a shorter trial) but what she and i didn't know is that there were notes on my file, saying not to change the date AND NO to shortening the trial, which meant that it wouldn't work) but guess what? The day we came to request a shorter trial, The crown "lost" my file, which meant that he couldn't read the notes in my file, which somehow leaded to the judge deciding to cancel the old date and set a new date in summer like I wanted... My wish came true, only because he didn't have the file at that perfect moment. miracle. I prayed a lot... a lot for that to happen... I can't stress enough how important this was, it changed my whole life.
Know that the court never ever "lose" files.. it is so unusual, and it was a such a perfect moment, it makes me wonder if a gardien angel helped me out..
and by the way, I do want to go to this trial, so yes he found the file back, which is good.

So basically Mansplaining is when (usually a man hence the name 'Man'splaining) tries to belittle (most of the time woman) by explaining something to her in a condescending way. Just constantly seeing everyone on social media on holiday, going out for meals, having lots of friends going places, having perfect looks and bodies, relationships, like the perfect lives they seem to have makes me feel really worthless and terrible about myself, biggest thing I feel is I’m wasting my life, I’m in my late 20s have barely any money any friends, just feel like I’m wasting my life nearly everyday as I have nothing compared to these people I realise that social media is a highlighted reel of people’s moments and I’m sure they have bad things too, but when I see people getting paid to go on holiday or pose in outfits I just find it hard to not feel envy and like I’ve wasted my life so much and wish I had those things and wish I was having that instead of sitting indoors with no one to go with or money to spend does anyone else feel like way?

I keep seeing people who put their nose in someone's business when it comes to dating older women even it is just a 2-5 years old age gap but the same people have no problem when a 18 years old teenager date a creepy grandpa. Whatever what is your age preference?

I personally dont care whom someone date as long as they are over 22-24 when they their brain development is finished.

So I kept it to myself and decided to block him to get over those feelings, so I kept unblocking him and talking to him but he never said anything negative he would always tell me it's been a while and I feel like a shitty person, so it's 5 years now and I'm still in love with him but every time we talk it seems like his moved on, like he doesn't talk to me much like he used to, he doesn't ask me questions like he used to, and he also talks about this one girl he likes even tho I like him, I keep trying to move on as well but I can't , but i know that I was the bad person for blocking him for years and coming back, I think I've blocked him 10 times now but came back 4 months or 1 year later, I already told him "I love you" and he responds "I love you to buddy" so I just know his moved on, when I text him he takes hours , days , or even weeks to reply and if he does he'd say he forgot or he is seeing the message now, I really wanna move on and I want your help on that, should I just tell him goodbye and move on? Because he is the first guy I've loved but I messed up so I'm the one to blame, every time he texts me my stomach drops, and everytime I text him I just don't wanna stop because I can text him for hours and hours and never get tired but he seems to always respond minutes or hours late, he doesn't text me good morning anymore or goodnight I really miss the old us, I wonder how it would have been if I never blocked him and just kept talking to him, maybe we would have been something , so I was thinking should I just text him for the last time and say my goodbye? I really need help with this answer because I can't decide and I'm overthinking too much

Like I've been working here for about 16 months now, everyone is really super nice and it's a great first "proper" job. But next September I'm going to need something that's either hybrid or completely working from home so that I can do school drop offs and pick ups etc. So in a couple of months I'm going to start looking for jobs (I've just moved home and am still getting furniture and things, and I'm constantly tired so not good if I want to be my best).

I'm pretty sure they know that I'll be leaving soon, I said to my manager that I see myself as x in five years which is completely different to what I'm doing now. I've mentioned a couple of times I'm going to need to change jobs before lo goes to school so it's not that they don't know sometime in the future it'll happen.

We're short staffed atm already, and I figure the earlier I tell them the more prep they can get for getting another person there.

What do you think? When would you tell your manager when you're thinking/are leaving?

So I just found out that a friend of mine had an embarrassing thing happen to her when she was out to eat. She complained that her food wasn't cooked to her liking and that she wasn't going to pay because of that. The waitress insisted that she pay and my friend challenged that idea and told the waitress to focus on her job and that she was leaving. As my friend describes it, things took an unfortunate turn after that. The waitress insulted my friend's appearance which resulted in the waitress being subjected to having a drink poured over her head. Then an off duty cop restrained my friend by cuffing her. Keep in mind that no punches were thrown and all that happened is that a waitress got a little soggy. After some loud complaining, a security person literally taped my friend's mouth shut! After like a half an hour of sitting basically cuffed and gagged, the police showed up to resolve the dispute, which only resulted in a warning.

Did the authorities go too far or was what happened to my friend justified? VOTE BELOW!

Hi, so I've posted about this but now have an update. I have been seeing this guy for 1-2 months, gone on dates. But recently my cousin found him on tinder. I asked him about it and he said it was an old account. My cousin said his location changed from 13km to 3km away from her. We also made a fake account and he matched with her within a day.

Is he keeping his options open because his looking for better?
