Green or red outfit for a date?

The outfit isn't complete yet but I was thinking of going with this top, it makes me even bustier than I am.. I think it's pretty sexy and cute at the same time.

Either I'll go red and use same shade lipstick

or

I'll go green and go a bit heavier on the eyes.

Tye green is great, and depending on your eye color might match well, but there is really no contest here. I'm a psychologist, and I don't know if you know this, but it is proven that red is a better "date color" than any other. Definitely go red to make an impression. Then if things go well, you can wear the green on like a 3rd date. Red is the best for a 1st dage though, hands down.

Never been a fan of red, though your blouse is more cranberry than red. Green is a much more relaxing color, while red is unnecessarily aggressive. Most girls don't think like I do though when they choose to wear red, but I think of it as a power play. I realize they think "hey, it looks good on me". But if red looks "good" on you, I guarantee something else looks even better!!

Cranberry suits me a little bit more than classic red to be honest and if I'd pair the red top with my cranberry lipstick, it'd look really put together.. or so I believe.
But I understand what you mean, red isn't always the best choice.

We're probably gonna meet early in the evening, around 7PM but with summer it's still quite sunny outside.

Not to get all fashion-y about it because I'm not good at that, but it does kinda depend on your eye color and the shoes you plan on wearing, stuff like that. Otherwise, both look good... seems like a coin flip.

So for first date it kinda depends on the tone you want to set for that date. Guys are visual, we play off visual signs, and of course body language and how the overall date & interaction plays out is a huge factor, but the outfit can also play into it. Hard to explain.

I think sincerely both are good but red one suits better the combination with white skirt. In general, I think that kind of red suits well pale skin tone, otherwise green is in general better with darker skin, in my opinion.
