Nobody, phones make calls, who the fuck wants to text an SO over calling?

And why would you even need to figure out who calls first or be worried about it?
Just call whenever the hell you want. Plus he's either your husband or at least your fiance, so he'll be home that day anyway because you live in the same house as a couple.

Also if you aren't the most impatient person ever, you can wait until after work unless you/him/both of you work from home.

If anything I just said is false, you are doing sex wrong.

For my parent's generation, and my entire childhood/teenage years (and yours based on your profile's claimed age), cell phones did not even exist. So to see comments saying he or she should or shouldn't do x thing with smart phones or "there is something wrong with the relationship", fuck off, shame on you people if that technology garbage even matters at all in your relationship, and shame on you if you are sleeping with a person when you are afraid to initiate a simple conversation with them at all, let alone over something so trivial.

Your generation's obsession with texting and avoiding real interactions is astounding. Do you also decide to break up with someone on the basis of how quickly they respond to your texts? Instead of worrying about unwritten rules of "the game," why don't you just call and talk to him if you have something to say? And he should do the same.

Or you can continue playing this game and continue wondering why you never really form a solid bond or connection with anyone.

anyone asking this type of question is not mentally mature enough to be dating, making relationsgip decisions, and definitely not ready to be having sex. it is not a gender thing nor an age thing at thst point. it boils down to thinking something as organic as dating and mating is done with arbitrary numbers of this or that such as "how many dates into..." or "who comminicates first after..." makes it becoming a form of mind games which is a childish thing (think toddlers) to do. this is instead one of the areas of dating meant for "how you feel" to definitely apply to.
