Fine lines under eyes?

Hello all.

I have a question about under eye care.

I have some lines under my eyes which are starting to bother me a lot. I have attached the pictures. Each time I smile, they show up and I feel quite low seeing them.

I am not sure if I have Dennie Morgan lines but I do know that each time I cry, my eyes become swollen and very puffy. I was also getting allergies on my eyelids which would only go away once I started taking antihistamines. These allergies caused my eyes to become extremely dry, itchy and swollen.

I do use retinol and tretinoin (00.25%) for the past 4 months but haven't noticed a lot of difference.

Is there any way I can get rid of these lines?

Hey no worries about the under eye lines, we all get stuff like that as we get older. A few things that might help - make sure you're moisturizing under your eyes daily, even just a thin layer of something gentle. La Roche Posay and CeraVe have good eye creams. Drink lots of water too to keep everything hydrated.

If they really bother you, dermatologists can do things like filler injections to plump them up. Or laser treatments over time might help break down some of the lines. But those options aren't cheap.

For now maybe try an eye gel with caffeine in it before bed - caffeine can temporarily reduce puffiness. Putting chilled spoons or tea bags on your eyes for a few mins each day may help too.

And try not to stress so much! We're still young, a few lines aren't a big deal. Smiling is good for you anyway :) Your eyes still look great, so try not to worry about it for now. However, I will say that it just looks like you're aging, which is natural. You need to accept that your body will change through the years. Sure you can use a bunch of articial stuff like injectors, but that usually has negative side effects. Just embrace the changes. It happens to us all.
