Trending & News No. Physical attraction is a factor, but I'm more for how we vibe. I've said no to guys I've found pretty hot, but ultimately we're either dumb as a post, or too in to themselves. If I think I can talk to them and let my guard down, I'm more than likely to say yes; well, not anymore since I'm taken, but you get the idea.
As an example: my boyfriend physically wasn't my type. But he talked to me for a while about common interests and made me laugh a lot, then he took his shot.
I wish more men would stop listening to the obnoxious women who do pay 100% attention to what you look like and realize that far more of us are perfectly ok with average looking men who can make us laugh, talk to us for hours, connect on an emotional level and let us feel safe and secure.
@Sirenboobzilla seems like your boyfriend has to try really hard to keep you though…if he was hot he wouldn’t have to do that…
@JHAYES317 And then there are guys who are really hot who just don't know it... or maybe believe it. Those are the most attractive of all... what do you think? Golly gee, batman sure wish I knew a guy like that...
@JHAYES317 everything I described isn't anything a partner should be trying too hard with. If that's trying hard by your definition, well 🫤
@Sirenboobzilla talking for hours sounds exhausting frankly…but I’m an introvert so maybe that’s why.
If you are talking to the right person, talking for long periods is never an issue. And I don't mean every conversation has to last more than a few minutes. But sometimes you can talk and one topic branches in to others that branch in to even more. Sometimes you can talk about absolute nonsense.
@Sirenboobzilla not if you are neurodivergent like me
I turned down a guy, nicely, because I was interested in someone else who I knew was right on the edge of asking me out, too. The guy I was interested in did (finally) ask me out and we were married for almost ten years before he died unexpectedly.
How ever long ago it was, I'm sorry for your loss.
3 years ago. Thank you.
I get comments from females, lot of looks, etc. I'm in the USA for a little while longer. I completely ignore them and brush them off before they can even get started in that direction. The reason is, when I used to be open and friendly... personable... unless a guy is offering to be their sugar daddy or buy their content, any verbal approach from the guy only elicits a "huh" or "what" from American females, so there's really no point in acknowledging them. I've never been turned down for a date or turned down a date in Mexico though.
Physical attraction - alone - is not a sufficient reason for me to date a woman, but physical attraction MUST be present or it will never be a romance. And, within 10 seconds, I almost always either feel attracted or I know I will never feel attraction to this woman.

Honestly, no. Sometimes it's a physical thing, but sometimes the timing is just off, other times there's no emotional or intellectual connection so the physical isn't as relevant as it is in situations where you do experience the full package (mental, emotional and physical attraction).
I wouldn't date someone to whom I wasn't physically attracted, so yes. I usually didn't know much about her until we had at least one date. There wasn't any internet, so we didn't do interviews before going on a date. That's what dates were for.
The only other reason I would turn a girl down was if I was already in a happy relationship.
Yes and no, you do have to be attracted to a person in some level right? But most of the time it is due to multiple reasons: different life stages, different intentions (aka they’re not looking for something serious), no emotional / intellectual connection, did not feel the vibe, personality, character seems off, not genuinely kind, they’re just a friend to me, not into his sense of style, or they don’t seem like what I am looking for as simple as that lol
I’ve never turned a woman down for a date. I’ve never been asked out by a woman.
I’ve rejected women’s sexual advances. Usually because they were way too drunk, or i didn’t know them well, or i knew them just well enough to know it wouldn’t end well. Ell oh ell!
I turn women down because they’re women and no I am not gay I’m attracted to women I just don’t want to get with someone who has more rights benefits Privileges and receives far more sympathy and empathy just for having a vagina
Just because I don't want to have to deal with them doesn't mean everybody else doesn't as well.
I like asking questions for everyone to answer and I enjoy doing polls and reading debates in th comments. I do not like being a part of those debates but sometimes I come across something said that I feel the need to comment on.
I do go to counseling.
I consider the women in my family to be different than women who aren't in my family. They actually care about me and want to see me succeed whereas women who aren't in my family want themselves to succeed and for men to not succeed
Most guys get rejected because women chase the top 1% and those men usually aren't interested if they're at the top of their career. Just like how most women feel they can get any guy they want, but are forced to settle for the "average" guy later on when they have no more sexual marketplace value and are bitter the toxic men at the top got away.
No I have turned down guys I thought were too good looking for me, if when we were talking I thought they were really weird lol, or just guys I knew weren't serious just looking for sex or something.
@Billlewis You are maybe right, since if they were too good looking they probably wouldn't talk to me.
I’ve either been taken or just not attracted. In a few instances, I rejected guys simply because I knew he wasn’t honest or loyal, or I knew he’d cause drama.
Eh, I’ve only ever turned down dates bc of having some intuitive feeling that me and this person prob have nothing in common or if they just don’t seem like someone I would care to get to know.
No, it has never been a physical thing. Lack of common interests, a culture clash or an abrasive personality will do it instantly for me.
Most of the time it's because we didn't connect, even if we had shared hobbies or values or they were attractive they were just someone I couldn't talk to for hours on end.
Never. When I turned a girl down it was because one of us was in a relationship already. That's basically the only reason I've ever turned a girl down.
Yes, but a few times because of their personality too. They just gave me that negative aura.
Did not go out on 2nd date cuz the guy had 2 cats with anxiety and he said he can’t leave them even for few days. I love traveling, i can’t see myself getting stuck like that.
No sometimes they turned out to be gold diggers
"Is that your Car" , the best giveaway of a gold digger
No. Sometimes it's because he doesn't earn enough money.
I see that women are lying on this poll as they do, and yes of course. But the main reason is that they have hit the wall or have kids.
Or, and I know this will be a wild concept for you, we're not all so shallow to pay so much attention to looks
@Sirenboobzilla No but most of you are and are denying it on this poll
Trust me, a shallow person will not deny it on this platform. If I've learned anything on my time here it's that peoplw. can be extra bold here
@Sirenboobzilla Not when selecting a poll option
Why not? Polls are anonymous. Literally nothing to lose
@Sirenboobzilla They have lied in this poll
Any evidence to back it up?
@Sirenboobzilla The evidence is externally empirical, and also based on women's comments on this site.
Empirical evidence can be flawed if the methods used for research aren't carefully designed for quality.
Observational data from one source, you in this case, isn't reliable as my own observational data is different.
@DarkLegacy Maybe it’s a good thing the dating world is disappearing.
@Peridot25 Yes we should just pump and dump
@DarkLegacy I don’t wanna
@Sirenboobzilla You are parroting something you learned in basic research design and you probably did poorly in that course if you finished it. Nothing makes your data, such as it is, any better than what sits right in front of us. Women lie about this stuff, and you defend those lies here and in other threads and you do it repeatedly as well as lying yourself.
Now be sure to respond to this.
Well gosh darn. Never thought the day would come when a man would know more about women than a woman. I've surely been beaten. Except, hang on, the data you happen to gather on this platform is flawed by default. You can't verify people on here. And it's not uncommon for pink profiles to actually be men, and vise versa. So a man with a pink profile voting would obscure the data.
I'm also not defending any lies. I speak from my own experience and observations. Do with that as you will.
If your outlook on us is so bleak, then by all means pursue another man.
@Sirenboobzilla Post more lies now.
@Sirenboobzilla Women just cannot resist lying when they know they are in the wrong. They like to lie to manipulate men and keep their control over them.
Awww look. You 2 are in sync. I'm glad you've found each other. Not every day I get to watch new match making ☺️
No, because I thought they were an asshole!
Sometimes physical attraction, but also due to the girl being mentally ill. I've met many very attractive women that were stone cold crazy as hell. No thanks.
@Peridot25 That might be preferable to the entitled greed women display.
No, it's because I was either already dating someone or was tired of dating.
Yes normally so or wrong place wrong time in my life lol 😆 or theirs lol aka they're a mess lol
Yes & mental and financial status and of course class~
I have turned some girls down because I had a girlfriend.
If a girl has the courage to ask me out, the only time I will say "No." is if I am in a relationship.
Yes that’s been a reason. Also turned them down if I had a girlfriend, or if they didn’t seem serious or if she was too young
NOT ALWAYS I WAS DATING A GIRL THAT WAS IN BED WITH ME AND SHE WAS JUST AMAZING AND SHE WAS VERY EXCITED ABOUT US FUCKING, OH, OH I WANT TO SEE 👀 HER.
No, only time I turned down a date was because I already was in a relationship
Why are afros coming back?
That’s like if white men brought back chili bowl haircuts.
Can be bad timing, not having much in common, being dispecful and can be part of personity if person.
where are all the lying women 🙄
It'd because their family were black. No matter how hot they were I just couldn't put up with that one negative
Why you gotta be a racist, and stereotype like that?
Because I've been alive long enough to know stereotypes are there for a reason and smart people are racist. It's why they can't get an AI to exist for more than 3 days without turning racist. Reality is real and facts matter.
I voted yes and that is probably accurate
nah sometimes it's the vibe or just bad timing
Nope.
Mainly lack of an emotional connection
people saying no are lying and full of shit
out of jealousy most of the time
